About the Books

At the heart of these poetry collections lies a commitment to inspire and uplift. Our first book, Life’s Lessons Learnt, takes readers on a journey through life’s most profound experiences—capturing moments of growth, resilience, and wisdom. Our second collection, Microscope Telescope, invites readers to explore both the intricate details of daily life and the grand mysteries of the universe through poetic reflection.

What makes these collections even more special is their purpose. All proceeds from both Life’s Lessons Learnt and Microscope Telescope go directly to Harmony, a charity dedicated to empowering young people through creativity, education, and personal development. With every purchase, you’re not only diving into the power of words but also helping to shape brighter futures for today’s youth.

BOY

SO MANY THINGS

I put my feelings in a bottle

Screwed the cork tight on top

I threw the bottle in the sea

I thought the hurt would stop

But the sea was rough

And the storms were cruel

So lay loose my cork

That’s when I had to face the truth

Find the strength to talk

When I looked inside the glass

All my lies came true

So I put a sail upon my heart

And came back home to you

The little boy who went to sea

I knew you’d understand

That when I finally reach your shore

This boy would be a man

You taught me so many things

So many things to help and guide me along the way

Wise words in this crazy world

So I would never go astray

But overtime those wise words I foolishly lost misplaced threw away

I didn’t really listen I didn’t learn

I got lost along the way

So now I find myself old tired and broken, I just sit around regretting

Wasting those precious words that were spoken

Oh so precious words

But now I’ve realised I’ve lost the beauty that is life

So here I am all alone old and broken

Took no heed in the wonder of every word that was spoken

Forget that beauty is your life

You taught me many things so many things but I forgot to learn
