Depression is one of the most isolating mental health diseases, it can cause you to isolate yourself from those you love, treat yourself badly and in more extreme cases it can cause people to harm themselves.
If you or someone you know are struggling with symptoms of depression, talk to your GP or contact a counselling agency to start the healing process and to start feeling more like yourself again. Depression is a disease that will likely be with you forever but there is always help, guidance and steps you can take to better manage it and continue with your life.
