20 Christmas food hampers & toy donations!

This Christmas, thanks to some wonderful funding, we’ve been able to provide our community with 20 Christmas food hampers! 😮🎄

Plus with donations from our community and Lidl customers we’ve been able to share over 30 brand new toys for all the children of families collecting ❤️ We’re so unbelievably grateful for everything our community has given, shared and donated these last few weeks and can’t believe we’re not even done yet! 💙

9 households this food bank Friday

This week’s food bank saw 9 households going home with bags full of tins and long life items, plus a wide range of fresh and short life items 💙 since the recent upgrades to our storage facilities we’ve been able to help more families each week with more items than usual, just in time for the colder months 💙

Very exciting Food Bank update this week! 🤩

Due to some very generous funding we have been able to upgrade our pantry from the overfull table and crates to allow for more space and more secure storage (That table is forever bowed in the middle 🙈) now all we need is a step ladder to reach the top 🤣

Thanks to this upgrade and some upcoming food deliveries, we’ll be able to help more families each week and expand our services 🤩 We’re so grateful for this support and it’s going to make such a huge difference to our community 💙

First food collections of September

This week’s #foodbankfriday saw 7 households in for essential support 💙 each week we see people in the most need, knowing that without us they would struggle to put food on the table for themselves and their families it brings us so much joy to know we’ve eased the burden even a little bit 😊
