I can’t believe how generous our community has been! 
13 chocolate eggs have been dropped off this morning for our Easter appeal and we will be adding them to our food parcels all through March Priority will be given to those with children but hopefully we’ll be able to share them around non-child households too 
Thank you so much to the couple who donated these, we know they’ll bring a big smile to some little faces
Our second ASDA order has filled our pantry to capacity! This time we’ve added some hygiene essentials and a few little treats like hot chocolate, honey and tinned peaces 
We’re still wide open for next week so hurry and book on now before all the spaces are taken
Thanks to support from Irwell Valley with Vouchers to spend at ASDA we have today received a HUGE delivery of tins, cereals and long life foods for our food bank! 😲✨ With this top up we’re able to help so many more people in need and ensure that everyone has a full and balanced parcel each month 💙

Thanks to some very generous donations, this week’s food parcels have been transformed into a Christmas goodie bag 😲✨ We’ve bee able to supply food, treats, hygiene items and some special presents for the children to 7 local families! 💙🎄 We’re over the moon with how this has come together and are so glad we’ve been able to support so many people in need this Holiday period 😊🎄

We’ve had some very generous donations of Christmas decorations from our community 💙🎄✨ Plus our team of volunteers have been printing, cutting and sticking some festive pictures in the window to brighten the street up a bit ✨
We’ve had tinsel, short lights, baubles, a photo backdrop! small trees and Christmas gnomes, as well as some empty boxes given to us by the team at Poundland to wrap up and bring some excitement 🎄💙
We are still in need of a tree with some lights and topper if anyone has one going spare please drop it off when you can 😊 We’re so pleased to live in a community that is so generous and full of the holiday spirit 🎄💙

This week’s food deliveries have had loads of fresh produce, bread and flowers.
We had 5 people come in to collect off their monthly collections and sent a huge tray to ‘The Cube’ student accommodation to help the new students get by until their finance comes in 🙂
We’re so glad we’re able to support our community with so many fresh items every week.
