We at Harmony Youth Project in Halliwell have recently been awarded three laptop computers from Prestfield Wealth Management.
Prestfield Wealth Management are a financial advice company based on Prestwich High Street.
Liam Hunt, head of client relationships said “we are very proud to have chosen Harmony Youth Project as our charity of the year, we have seen how they have a fresh and modern approach to youth work and tackle some of the most sensitive and relevant issues that the youth of today face”
Liam Hunt and John Myatt, who are both regular visitors at Harmony presented the laptops to some of our young people, Zoe, Chantel and Scott, the computers will be used for project research but also for education in how to use email, Microsoft Office and job search to facilitate those looking for full time employment.
Charlie Barrett CEO at Harmony said “we were delighted to receive the computers; we are currently working on projects that are giving young people the tools required to safeguard themselves when choosing safe relationships, especially on the Internet, which relates to Ofsted quidlines and is particularly effective in local primary schools in our community.”
