This week, Harmony Youth Project spoke with the team at GB News about our knife crime prevention work.

We’re proud to share that our work featured in a national broadcast. The programme highlighted the urgent issue of knife crime. It also showed the importance of early intervention, education and community-led solutions.

The feature helped shine a light on our work in Bolton. We support young people, raise awareness and promote safer choices.

Through our Sharper Choices initiative, we work directly with young people. We deliver sessions in schools, colleges and community settings. These include workshops, outreach and one-to-one support.

We encourage open and honest conversations. We talk about knife crime, peer pressure and personal safety. Young people learn about real consequences and build confidence to make positive choices.

Our work goes beyond awareness. We provide mentoring, guidance and safe spaces. Young people can speak openly and access support when they need it. We focus on building trust and strong relationships.

Being featured on GB News is an important moment for us. It helps share our message with a wider audience. It also highlights the need for continued support for grassroots youth work.

If you would like to support this work, donations make a real difference. Every contribution helps us reach more young people and deliver more sessions.

We remain committed to building safer communities and supporting the next generation.
