Bolton Asda store community champion, Christine Baldwin, presented ‘Harmony Youth Project’ with a donation of £1,000 on behalf of the Asda Foundation. The donation will help us to provide essentials and celebrate a ‘Bringing Communities Back Together’ event which will be held on November 18th 2021. We would like to thank Christine for all her help.
We at Harmony Youth Project would just like to give a massive thank you to the team at JD sports. They have donated boxes full of merchandise for the kids here at harmony. We did a photo shoot with the children and they were over the moon with the new hats and bags they received. So again, just a massive thank you to JD sports from the team here at Harmony and from the children who were thrilled with their new accessories.
We were delighted to receive a donation of two hundred pounds from Bolton Lever Rotary club this week! They support the community in so many ways and are hands on in raising funds to support others. Please take a look at their website to check out the great work they do.

Morrisons 187 on Mornington Road, have kindly donated some goodies for our Halloween project! Represented by Emma Parkinson.
Emma said if Harmony require any further resources all we have to do is ask and she will do her very best to come up with the goods. We are extremely grateful to Emma and Morrisons for all they’ve done for our community so far and look forward to future partnerships!
Thank you all so much for attending our 1st Charity Golf day. On behalf of myself and all the Prestfield Partners we would like to thank you for your generosity. The money raised will go to help Harmony Youth Project along with the matched funds from the ST James’s Place Charitable Foundation going to other worthy causes across the country.

We were delighted to receive a cheque for £275 raised by selling Cakes, crafts, jewellery and a chocolate Raffle from the Longsight Women’s Institute. Mr Charlie Barrett received the cheque and said a few words in appreciation, the cheque was presented by Mrs Kath Hynes. Charlie said ” It was a pleasure to meet this group of ladies who support the community in so many ways, they are so inspirational with their hands on work, they have a serious agenda but also a great sense of humour and fun”

We at Harmony Youth Project in Halliwell have recently been awarded three laptop computers from Prestfield Wealth Management.
Prestfield Wealth Management are a financial advice company based on Prestwich High Street.
Liam Hunt, head of client relationships said “we are very proud to have chosen Harmony Youth Project as our charity of the year, we have seen how they have a fresh and modern approach to youth work and tackle some of the most sensitive and relevant issues that the youth of today face”
Liam Hunt and John Myatt, who are both regular visitors at Harmony presented the laptops to some of our young people, Zoe, Chantel and Scott, the computers will be used for project research but also for education in how to use email, Microsoft Office and job search to facilitate those looking for full time employment.
Charlie Barrett CEO at Harmony said “we were delighted to receive the computers; we are currently working on projects that are giving young people the tools required to safeguard themselves when choosing safe relationships, especially on the Internet, which relates to Ofsted quidlines and is particularly effective in local primary schools in our community.”
