Harmony Youth Project recently attended a community event at the Albert Halls in Bolton.

It was a great opportunity to meet people who are working to support communities across the borough. We also had the pleasure of meeting Green Party Councillor Hanif Ali, alongside many other local organisations and community representatives.

The event showcased a wide range of free support available to Bolton residents. This included advice, support sessions, skills development and practical guidance.

For Harmony, attending events like this is important. They allow us to build stronger relationships with other organisations. In addition, we can learn more about the services available to local people.

Many of the people who visit Harmony need support with several different issues. These can include financial difficulties, housing problems, employment, wellbeing or accessing local services. Therefore, strong community connections help us provide better signposting and referrals.

Working together also makes it easier for people to find the right help. Rather than facing problems alone, residents can connect with organisations that understand their needs.

It was a pleasure to meet so many people who are making a positive difference across Bolton. We look forward to building on these connections and continuing to support our community.
