We’ve collected another of our weekly M&S food donations, helping us provide essential support through our Friday food bank.
These regular donations help us support young people experiencing homelessness, families facing financial hardship and others who are struggling across Bolton.
Every week, we see people dealing with difficult circumstances. For some, rising household costs mean there simply isn’t enough money left for food. Others may be experiencing housing problems, homelessness or an unexpected crisis.
Our food support provides immediate practical help. However, it also gives us an opportunity to understand what else may be happening in someone’s life.
Where appropriate, we can offer guidance or connect people with other local services. As a result, food support can become the first step towards accessing wider help.

The weekly M&S collections help us make the most of good-quality surplus food. Instead of going to waste, these items can reach people in our community who can genuinely benefit from them.
We’re grateful for the continued support and for every donation that helps us keep this work going.
Our Friday food bank forms part of our wider community support, working alongside Response Bolton to help people experiencing hardship.
Together, we can make sure more food reaches the people who need it.
